The 1600th detector placed

The last regular particle detector at the Pierre Auger Observatory has been placed in the field, carrying signatures from all participating physicists. Researchers from the Cosmic Experience Crew have also signed this last tank. Now, after many years of construction, the Pierre Auger Observatory is complete. This is a huge milestone for the detection of cosmic rays. In the following years, a lot of data will be taken to investigate the universe.

First live act confirmed: Acos CoolKAs!

We are proud to confirm the first live act to play at Cosmic Experience: Acos CoolKAs from Russia. They will perform live during the event, which will be held in the near future (stay tuned!).
Acos CoolKAs are ‘Konstantin Atomas’ and ‘Vasiliy Basalaev’ from Omsk, Russia.Omsk by the way, is the largest City of Southern Siberia, 2500 Kilometers from Moscow and is situated at the crossing of the Trans-Siberian Magistral and the Irtysh River. Unless you’re a Geography expert, it’s pretty hard to imagine where it is, but there are people living in this corner of the world producing Electronic music like Acos CoolKAs!
